Click anywhere in Local Library, and then press 'F1' or select 'Insert' from the 'Edit' menu.

This will open the 'Add Media Attachment' window. Set the Start and End to 'Other' then enter the start and end date and times from the asset that you are looking to acquire. You can move this window around to see the remote library underneath it. Link type should be set to server. Click OK when this information is correct.

The next window will contain the attachment details. change the Media ID to match the ID of the asset that you are looking to acquire, and change the status to 'Requested.' If you are requesting an asset from your local archive, the location must be set to the archive, and if you are looking to acquire an asset from Ci, the location must be set to 'CLOUD'.

If you have attempted to create a media ID that already exists in the local library, the attachment process will fail. Requests to the remote libraries are sent out every 30 minutes. You can track the progress of the request for the remote content by looking at the activity log for the attachment you just created. You should see the initial request for content to either Aspera or your archive, followed by the dub request to Crispin, and eventual media updates back from Crispin.
