Occasionally there will be instances where overlapping records result in no record head being available. This has been a problem particularly when PBS has had issues delivering NRT files or when there is a late revision to a program requiring a reefed. To detect these cases, the record list is checked throughout the day in order to plan around these cases should they occur.
A conflict can be detected when an event on the record list does not have a red “P” next to it, and there is also no destination listed for the record port.
In these cases, there are a couple options:
A helpful tool for checking the record schedule is using the Record Schedule Report which will list all records that ProTrack has identified as needing to record locally at your site. This can be found in ProTrack under Reports → Program Reports → Record Schedule Reports → Record Schedule
