For playlists configured with a backup ChannelPort, Crispin will handle both the primary and backup as a mirror configuration, sending the same transport commands to both. In the event that an error is encountered on the primary channel, Crispin will automatically "Bump" to the backup ChannelPort by switching the on-air source to the backup on the router.
An operator can also trigger this process manually in RapidPlayX by clicking "NORMAL" in the List Control section.
A prompt will appear, "Are you sure you want to switch to Bump mode?" Select "Yes".
The "NORMAL" status in the List View will change to "BUMP" once the source has been changed on the router. Clicking "BUMP" will switch the source back to the primary and the status will return to "NORMAL".
